More than double the numbers of entries were viewed and twice as many people cast their votes for their favourite 2011 international, award-winning out-of-home campaigns. The industry’s most popular choices have just been unveiled by OMAC on its creative microsite. The 2011 collection now spans award shows from 40 countries (up from 30 the year prior) including Czech Republic, Japan, Sweden, Austria, USA, Belgium and Canada.
The bilingual microsite allows users to search by year (2011-2009), within 22 product categories and to view thumb nail size images or a full screen slide show. Each image has details on the country, award(s) won, creative agency and advertiser.
The final selections have been edited from over 2500 images and videos. The number of images increased dramatically this year as many advertisers chose multiple OOH executions to showcase their product or service. A special viewing of a specific category or the entire archive can be arranged by contacting OMAC. Visit the microsite to see which campaigns made the final cut.
OMAC (omaccanada.ca) is responsible for promoting the benefits and effectiveness of out-of-home media to advertisers and advertising agencies. OMAC seeks to develop and implement new initiatives that serve as a resource to the industry and increase understanding of out-of-home media.
